I would never really describe my husband as "green." Nor is he overly vocal about protecting the environment. However, he is frugal. I'd say that's what makes him a master of the second R- reuse. When we replaced the wood core doors in our upstairs, Mike used the old doors to make some much-needed shelving in our basement. I thought it was quite clever of him...and inadvertently green.
I also like the way he looks like a superhero in this photo. The Green Wolverine. Sorry.
I think being frugal is one of the most important parts of being green! I think many people forget that and spend too much money on new "green" products instead of re using what they have.
